POLICES AND PROCEDURES
Clothing & Equipment
-Fighters must provide their own Fight
Shorts, Mouthpieces, Groin Protectors, Tape, and Wraps. Female
fighters must wear appropriate tops, Male Fighters do not wear tops.
These articles are mandatory with NO exceptions.
-Fight Shorts cannot contain pockets, mesh, buttons, or zippers of any
kind. Fight Shorts may be either Board Shorts or 'Vale Tudo' Shorts,
no other shorts will be permitted.
-Mouthpieces can either be top only or top and bottom fit.
-Groin cups must be worn on the inside of the Fight shorts.-Corners are expected to wear appropriate attire.
-CITC will provide fight gloves, latex gloves, towels, bottled water, & ice.
Fighter/Corner Passes
Fighter and Corner passes are necessary in order to allow authorized
individuals access to restricted areas of the show. These passes must
be worn at all times and must be easily visible to the CITC security
staff. Under no circumstances are passes transferrable person to
person. Passes will be given on a per show basis and by using the
following guidelines:
Fighter Pass
-Each fighter will be given a Fighter pass. The pass must be worn
until the Fighters hands are wrapped.
Corner Pass
-Corner passes will be given on terms of 'Team' representatives,
'Team' refers to the training camp in which the fighter is associated.
- A Team which has one (1) fighter participating will be given two (2)
corner passes. One (1) additional corner pass may be obtained with the
purchase of a general admission ticket for a maximum of three (3)
corners permitted cage side during a single bout.
--A Team which has two (2) - three (3) fighters participating will be
given three (3) corner passes. Three (3) corners will be the maximum
permitted cage side during a single bout.
--A Team which has four (4) or more fighters participating will be
given four (4) corner passes. Three (3) corners will be the maximum
permitted cage side during a single bout.
-Corners are to be chosen by mutual agreement between a Fighter and
his/her Team. Please keep in mind the importance of having a qualified
person to corner and assist a fighter. As you know, this position is
intended to offer a fighter the support needed to encourage his/her
best performance. For safetly purposes, CITC reserves the right to
deny a corner pass to any individual who does not have a verifiable
history or reputation as a qualified MMA trainer, coach, or fighter.
Corner passes are not intended to be used as free admittance tickets
and will not be permitted to be used in this manner.
- Once Team Corners are decided, Corner's names must be submitted to
CITCinfo@comcast.net or faxed to (215) 395-6386 for confirmation no
later than 12:00pm one (1) day prior to the event. This is the
responsibility of a Trainer and his Fighter, please keep open Team
communication. Any names not received and listed by CITC as a
confirmed corner for the event with not be issued a pass. This rule
will be strictly enforced with NO exceptions. If necessary, CITC will
supply at least one (1) qualified person to corner any fighter in need
of assistance.
-Taking photos or video will not be permitted in or around cornering area.
Weigh ins
-Weigh ins will be conducted for a maximum 2 hour period.
-Any fighter who does not meet their agreed upon weight requirement
will be given the opportunity to cut weight. The time allowance will
be determined and will not exceed the maximum 2 hour period of the
official weigh in time.
-Amateur fights allow a FULL three (3) pound allowance, however, an
opponent may request a weight cut to the exact agreed upon weight.
Anything over the FULL weight limit is considered over the weight
class.
-If a fighter does not make the agreed upon weight within the time
limit allowed, he/she automatically loses the match via forfeit.
Weight classes will be strictly enforced with no exceptions.
Tickets
-Fighters have the opportunity to sell tickets and earn a commission
from their ticket sales.
-General Admission Tickets can be ordered in increments of 10 by
filling out and submitting the ticket request page on
www.combatinthecage.com.
-Once the order has been received, tickets and posters will be mailed
out by Priority Mail or Fedex on the following day or based upon
availability. If tickets or an email response to the request is not
received by CITC within a week please contact us at
CITCinfo@comcast.net
-Any requested tickets that have not been sold must be returned during
ticket reconciliation. There are no penalties at all for unsold
tickets, however, any tickets not returned during reconciliation will
be considered 'sold' and is the responsibility of the fighter.
-Due to limited seating, ringside tickets may only be purchased at the
door on the day of the event or thru Ticketweb. However, any
individual who purchases a General Admission ticket from a Fighter may
upgrade their ticket at the door and will receive the advance purchase
discount.
Ticket Reconciliation
-Fighters who have requested tickets to sell may reconcile their
tickets at any point prior to or on the day of the event, however, the
official deadline will be before the Fighter weighs in on the day of
the event. Failure to reconcile by the deadline will result in an
interruptance of the Fighter's participation in the event. This rule
will be strictly enforced with no exceptions.
-Ticket reconcilation must be paid in cash, no personnal checks can be accepted.
